
Alta Performance has taken their tried and true Mini Cooper S intake system and made it even better. The gains of the air intake are listed as +10HP, and +8 ft lbs of torque. They have modified the design to provide additional clearance for aftermarket strut braces and additional space between the intake and the firewall. A red crinkle finish completes the new package.

Form and Function is a relatively new suspension company. They have coilovers on the market for a number of applications. Earlier this week they announced the release of their Type 2 Suspension for Honda’s Fit and S2000 vehicles. The Type 2 model features 32 way adjustability, camber plates(where applicable), pillow ball mounts, height adjustability, independent spring preload, and a dual tube shock design.

The Soul has been making a lot of buzz as a of late. Its styling and price point really open it up to a large number of buyers, its also another option in the box-esque market currently dominated by Scion’s xB. Stillen is one of the first to provide performance minded modifications to Kia’s Soul. Stillen offers a high flow intake and an axle back exhaust. Both of these modifications will add a bit more performance while adding a more aggressive tone.

Cusco has announced their new suspension set, Compact Zero2. This class of suspension targets the “city car” automobile segment. Their first offering is for the Honda Fit, the kit provides the following: spring preload adjustment independent of height setting and five levels of damper adjustment in the front and eight levels of damper adjustment in the rear. The Compact Zero2 allow for a 0-55mm range in height adjustment for the front of the Fit and 30-55mm in the rear. It seems flexible enough to use on both the track and the street.

This week the JDM 2010 Honda CRV has received a bit of aftermarket support. Mugen and Honda Modulo have done work to make owners of the new CRV happy. Between the two vendors all aspects of the new CRV are covered: wheels, front bumpers, rear bumpers, interior trim, rear spoiler, and exhaust systems. As with all Mugen and Honda Modulo parts you can expect factory fitment with these pieces.

Volkswagon’s latest incarnation of the GTI has been treated by Milltek to a new exhaust system. The exhaust as you would expect increase the exhaust tone a bit while raising power a bit by allowing more exhaust gases to escape. Milltek’s exhaust increases the aesthetics of the car’s rear by the introduction of 100mm exhaust tips.

While there is no shortage in exhaust options for the Nissan GTR, finding one with no Titanium burn is another story. In steps this beautiful full exhaust from UK manufacturer Milltek. The full exhaust system is comprised of Milltek’s Y-Piece complete with flex joints, connecting pipe, link pipe, rear silencer assembly and 4 x GT127 tailpipes. While the tailpipes are considerably larger than stock, the fully polished finish gives a cleaner, less flashy feel than most titanium offerings. No performance numbers are available from Milltek as of now, but with the company’s great reputation, you can bet that this exhaust will be a great addition to any GTR.
