The addition of the correct wheels can transform the state of a vehicle, the benefits are both aesthetic as well as functional. Rotiform recently announced their initial wheel offerings, and they are really good. These guys have dialed into their target audience, and are providing the Audi/VW/Mercedes Benz/BMW community with visually appealing models that are guaranteed to appropriately fill wheel wells. Aftermarket wheels help to raise the bar on the individualism of a vehicle. With literally thousands of options, choices are limitless. Swiss wheel manufacturer, Corniche, recently announced their rendition of the classic five star wheel at this year’s Essen Motorshow with their Vegas wheel. Black barreled with a polished face and lip, the Vegas wheel has been designed to work well on quite literally all vehicles. Corniche has taken into consideration a wide array of vehicles by providing the wheel in the following bolt patterns 5×110/112/114.3/120.

Euro drivers usually feel left out when it comes to japanese wheels, well not this time. SSR Wheels has announced the release of their Type -F wheel  for European Drivers. The following cars are supported with this release: Audi TT, VW Golf V, BMW E46, BMW  E90, BMW E92, Lotus Elise, Lotus Exige, Mini. That is a huge list, the standard color is “Search Light Silver” with a list of optional colors available!

Mopar has debuted some aftermarket parts for the widely popular Jeep Liberty at this years Frankfurt Motor Show. The parts, which consist of mostly appearance add-ons,  were showcased on what Jeep called their “Moparized” Jeep Liberty. The appearance add-ons include, Chromed Upper Mesh Grille, Chromed Lower Mesh Grille, 18-inch Polished Aluminum Wheels, Chromed Mirror Covers, Chromed Tubular Side Steps, and Chromed Fuel-filler Door. While the only performance part to be featured in the line-up was the Cat-back Exhaust System. All in all these parts appear to be a good way to give a personalized feel with a clean factory fit and finish to your Jeep Liberty.

AC Schnitzer has extended once more with the release of the Type VIII wheel. In my opinion, this wheel has the DNA of the Type III at its core with a bold twist. The dark portions of the wheel really stand out. AC Schnitzer has stated that these wheels are for the BMW X5, X6, and 7 series. As you might assume from the list of aforementioned vehicles, these wheels are on the larger side (22″-23″ with widths between 9.5″- 12″).

Porsche’s Tequipment personalization program has released several options for race minded 997 GT3 and GT3 RS owners. The accessories include a number of carbon fiber clad aero bits and track ready; center locking 19″ GT3 wheels. Weight reduction isn’t left alone to the body styling, a titanium double tailpipe is now an option as well.
